The short version
This policy is about cookies on our website, vntg.app. The VNTG app does not use cookies.
We use a small number of cookies to make the site work, to remember your preferences (like language), and to understand aggregate site usage.
We do not use advertising or targeting cookies, we do not track you across other sites or apps, and we do not sell your data. This matches our app: no ads, no third-party tracking.
Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.
1. What this policy covers
This Cookies Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the VNTG website (vntg.app), including the marketing pages and these legal pages.
The VNTG iOS App does not use cookies. The App is a native application; it stores settings and an anonymous identifier on your device (described in our Privacy Policy) rather than in browser cookies, and it does not load web-tracking technologies. If you use VNTG only through the App and never visit the Website, this policy does not affect you.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognize your browser and remember information between pages or visits. "Similar technologies" include things like local storage and pixels. We use the word "cookies" in this policy to cover all of them.
Cookies can be:
First-party (set by vntg.app) or third-party (set by another service whose content is embedded on a page).
Session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (kept for a set period or until you delete them).
3. The cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum and group them by purpose:

Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Functional and analytics cookies are set only with your consent where consent is required (see §6).
4. What we do not use
Consistent with our Privacy Policy, the Website does not use:
Advertising or targeting cookies. We do not run ads, and we do not set cookies to deliver interest-based advertising.
Cross-site or cross-app tracking. We do not track your activity across other websites or apps, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
Data sales or ad-network sharing. We do not sell your information and do not share it with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers.
If you saw an older version of this page that mentioned "targeting/advertising cookies" or ad-industry opt-out programs (such as the NAI or DAA), that text no longer reflects how VNTG operates and has been removed.
5. Third-party cookies
Some pages may include content or tools provided by other companies (for example an embedded video player, an App Store link or badge, our website hosting platform, or a consent-management tool). Those providers may set their own cookies when their content loads, and those cookies are governed by their privacy and cookie policies, not ours. We do not control them and we do not use them for advertising. The current list of any such providers is kept up to date in our consent tool and, where required, in the cookie banner details.
6. Managing your choices
You are in control of cookies:
Consent banner. Where the law requires consent (for example in the EEA and UK), we show a banner on your first visit so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice later through the cookie settings link on the site.
Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work.
Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track. Where supported, we honor recognized browser-level opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) for the choices the law attaches to them.
Mobile. Your device and browser settings let you manage cookies and similar storage on mobile too.
7. Consent and legal basis
For strictly necessary cookies, our basis is our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure site (no consent needed). For functional and analytics cookies in regions that require it, our basis is your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time through the cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies already used before you withdrew it.

We may update this Cookies Policy as the Website or applicable law changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice on the site.
